Is MyRSS really free?

Yes! MyRSS offers a completely free plan that allows you to create and host one RSS feed with a custom URL, basic analytics, and up to 100 entries. This plan will remain free forever. We also offer premium plans with additional features for users who need more capabilities.

How is MyRSS different from competitors?

How do I create an account?

Creating an account is simple! Just click the "Sign Up Free" button, enter your email address and choose a password. You'll need to verify your email address, and then you can start setting up your RSS feed right away.

Can I change my custom URL later?

Yes, you can change your custom URL, but we recommend doing this sparingly as it will break existing subscriptions. If you do need to change your URL, we provide a redirect service (available on Pro and Business plans) that will automatically forward subscribers from your old URL to your new one.

How many feeds can I create?

The number of feeds you can create depends on your plan. Free users can create 1 feed, Pro users can create up to 10 feeds, and Business users have unlimited feeds. You can view our pricing page for a detailed comparison of plan features.

What happens if I exceed my plan limits?

If you reach your feed or entry limits, we'll notify you and provide options to either upgrade your plan or manage your existing content to stay within limits. We won't automatically charge you or delete your content without your permission.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings page. Once deleted, all your feeds and associated data will be permanently removed from our system. Please note that this action cannot be undone, so we recommend exporting your feed data before deletion if you want to preserve it.

What RSS standards do you support?

MyRSS supports both RSS 2.0 and Atom 1.0 formats. Our feeds are validated to ensure they comply with these standards and are compatible with all major RSS readers and aggregators.

Can I import my existing RSS feed?

Yes! MyRSS allows you to import existing RSS feeds. Simply provide the URL of your current feed during setup, and we'll import all your entries. You can then manage your feed through our platform while maintaining your existing content.

Do you support podcast RSS feeds?

Yes, MyRSS fully supports podcast RSS feeds with all the necessary tags for podcast directories like Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and Google Podcasts. Our Business plan includes extended storage options for audio files and detailed podcast-specific analytics.

How do I use the API?

API access is available for Pro and Business users. You can find comprehensive documentation in our developer documentation. The API allows you to programmatically create, update, and manage your RSS feeds without using the web interface.

Can I schedule posts in advance?

Yes, Pro and Business plans include the ability to schedule feed entries in advance. You can create content and set a specific date and time for it to be published to your feed, allowing you to maintain a consistent publishing schedule without manual intervention.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover) as well as PayPal. For enterprise plans, we also offer invoicing and wire transfer options.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Yes, you can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from your account dashboard. If you upgrade, you'll be charged the prorated difference for the remainder of your billing cycle. If you downgrade, you'll receive credit toward future billing.

Do you offer refunds?

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee for all paid plans. If you're not satisfied with our service within the first 14 days, you can request a full refund. After this period, we handle refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

Do you offer discounts for annual billing?

Yes! We offer a 20% discount when you choose annual billing for any of our paid plans. This discount is automatically applied when you select the annual billing option during signup or when changing your billing cycle in account settings.

Do you offer special pricing for nonprofits or educational institutions?

Is my feed content backed up?

Yes, we perform regular backups of all feed content. Additionally, Pro and Business users can manually export their feeds at any time in various formats for their own archival purposes. In the unlikely event of a service disruption, we have robust recovery procedures to minimize data loss.

What happens to my data if MyRSS shuts down?

While we have no plans to shut down, we have a data protection policy that ensures users will be given ample notice and the ability to export all their data in standard formats before any service termination.
